Pawan Dham in Haridwar

Pawan Dham is one among the most visited pilgrimage shrines in Haridwar and is counted among the ancient temples of Haridwar. The temple is famous for its beautiful architecture. The founder of Pawan Dham was Swami Vedantanandji Maharaj.

The wonderful glass work and artistically designed walls are the special attractions of the temple reasons of its popularity. The work describes the rich culture and heritage of the ancient India. Stories of Hindu Mythology such as Sri Ganga Avatar, Krishna Aur Balaram Kaa Makhan Chori, Mahabharata, etc. are displayed on the walls of the temple and colorful patterns on the glasses.

How to Reach Pawan Dham in Haridwar
Haridwar is an easily accessible city with the National Highway 72 connecting it by road. The airport is only 32 away and the railways connect the city to all the major cities in the country. Once you reach Haridwar, the Pawan Dham Temple can be reached by buses or taxis from the main city which is 2 kms away and from Har ki Pauri which is 3 kms away.
